me

No one ever takes pictures of me, since I'm always the one behind the camera. Whenever I'm looking for a good one to post, I can't find one. So, I just took that camera and held it away and said cheese! I took a bunch but this one is the one I like the best.

As much as I love the profile photo of you reading - because I relate so well to it, I LOVE this new photo! It captures you and red is a great color for you!

Well, I was actually trying to replace the profile picture with it, since the light coming in the window behind me in that picture makes it so my features don't show up...but for some reason it wouldn't change. So I think I'll leave the profile pic as is and put it over there on the side!

I keep meaning to tell you that I love the reading photo. This new one is lovely too - you should keep both!

You look lovely.
And no, Thing 1 isn't averse to showing her face; I'm not 100% thrilled with her face being everywhere. You just have to search the archives. Or I'll email some to you.

Hudson took a fairly good picture of me, which I'm wondering if I should use. The honesty of photos rather annoys me though. Glad you got a nice picture.
Enjoy your garden shots. My garden is going, but not too quickly. And it tain't cute, like yours -- no reason to go cute in a short term rental.
Zach's very tactful comment cracks me up. =)
now let's see if this will post...
Oh!!! so the problem is blogspot decided to change the method of sign it...

lycan! How tactful of you. What can I expect out of a 13 year old daughter? :-P

Stef, I'd wondered if it was because you didn't want her face on your blog for security issues, but I see your other "Things" faces on your blog. Is it because of her age?

SVB--I know what you mean about the honesty of pictures. It's honestly difficult for me to just pick one and put it up! I figure it's me. And I should be okay with that so I choose to be okay with it.

I've never had such a beautiful garden. My gardens are usually much more functional--not that this one isn't! But I usually don't worry about how it looks. But this one is in the front yard, and, well, what can I say? My husband was in on it helping me, and he's much more artistic than I (and less practical).

Yes, blogger did change the way you sign in. Is that more helpful to you? Cuz I hate having to put my whole email address in every time.
