No chicks have hatched yet. I'm starting to think all are duds--I know one is, at least. Too bad for poor Mama Bear. Her mama longings have been thwarted once again.
I thought I'd let you know that some free-roaming chickens are still alive due to Will's efforts to scare *a coyote* away. He was talking to me and looking out the window at work when he said, "what the...? There's a coyote headed for the neighbors' chickens" and off he went to save the day. Cool, huh?
